How a lookup works
Type one thing, then read what came back
- 1
Type one thing
A keyword, a handle, or a link. The page says what the lookup costs before you press Search. - 2
Read the saved answer
It stays on your account with charts and plain sentences worked out from it. Opening it again is free until it ages out. - 3
Follow it to the next lookup
A creator opens their posts and an app opens its reviews. Following a link only fills the search, so you choose when to spend.
What it does not do
- Company pages only. Personal profiles are refused.
- The company post list has no reaction counts. Open Comments on one post for its numbers.
- People shown on a company page are never kept, and we do not read jobs or who reacted to a post.
Questions people ask
- Can I research a person's profile?
- No. LinkedIn research covers company pages. A personal profile link is refused before anything is spent.
- Why are top posts sorted by reactions?
- LinkedIn's search answers in no useful order, so we sort the ten posts by reactions.
