Google Play research
Read what users say about any app on Google Play
Open an app by its link or package name for its rating, the share of one- and two-star ratings, and its store rank. Read its recent reviews, see which apps come up for a keyword in the country you pick, and list a developer's apps.

How a lookup works
Type one thing, then read what came back
- 1
Type one thing
A keyword, a handle, or a link. The page says what the lookup costs before you press Search. - 2
Read the saved answer
It stays on your account with charts and plain sentences worked out from it. Opening it again is free until it ages out. - 3
Follow it to the next lookup
A creator opens their posts and an app opens its reviews. Following a link only fills the search, so you choose when to spend.
What it does not do
- Top charts are not offered for Google Play.
- A developer lookup needs the name exactly as the store prints it, in the developer's own country.
- It reads public store pages. Your own Play Console numbers, such as installs and revenue, stay there.
Questions people ask
- Do I need a developer account?
- No. Paste a Google Play link or a package name such as com.example.app.
- Which country does a search use?
- The one you pick, starting with the United States. Store results differ by country, so each saved answer keeps its country.
