Questions people ask
- Can the assistant change anything in Search Console?
- No. The connection uses Google's read-only Search Console scope. The assistant reads clicks, impressions, queries, and pages for the property you connected.
- Why does the average position differ from my rank tracker?
- Search Console averages the positions where your pages appeared in searches. A rank check reads the first 20 Google results for one keyword, in one market, and saves the result on a schedule. The two answer different questions, so read both.
- How far back can it read?
- The last 28 days on every plan. Longer windows follow the plan's history, and pricing lists each plan.
- Can I disconnect it?
- Yes. Disconnect Search Console in the dashboard at any time, and the assistant stops reading that property.
