Plan a short quick-wins sprint for pages close to more clicks
Your assistant finds the pages and keywords nearest to more clicks, ranks them by impact and effort, and plans a sprint of up to ten items. When the sprint ends, it compares each page's clicks before and after the change.
Example
You ask
I can spend about three hours a week for two weeks. Which pages should I fix first to get more clicks from search?
The assistant
Your assistant lists the pages and keywords closest to more clicks, ranks them by impact and effort, and places the best low-effort items in week one. It keeps the sprint to ten items or fewer and asks for your yes before it changes a page.
Use it when
- You want faster results than the weekly three actions.
- Keywords sit at positions 4 to 20, or pages get shown often but rarely clicked.
- You have a few hours over the next two weeks to make changes.
- You ask for quick wins.
You give it
- How many hours you or your team have, and over how many weeks. Two weeks is the default.
- A RankMySEO plan of Starter or above, or Search Console connected directly. Without RankMySEO, the tracked-rank rows are skipped.
- A yes on the final list. Nothing changes before it.
It returns
- A ranked table of up to ten items, each with its page, keyword, the number behind it, impact, and effort.
- A two-week plan with high-impact, low-effort items in week one.
- One change log row per item, with a check date.
- A before-and-after table with a verdict of improved, stable, declined, or too early for each item.
How the skill runs
Find the candidates
Read the
page_updatesrows marked tune, expand, and refresh, and skip wait and keep rows. Add keywords at positions 4 to 20 fromlist_keywords. With Search Console connected, add pages shown often but rarely clicked. Remove duplicates.Rank by impact, then effort
High impact means real volume at positions 4 to 10, or many impressions. Low effort is a title, description, or internal link. A money page beats an informational page at the same impact.
Plan the sprint with you
Your assistant asks how many hours you have and over how many weeks. It fills week one with high-impact, low-effort items, cuts from the bottom if the hours run over, and stops at ten items.
Build a checklist per item
Each item gets four to six short tasks, such as tightening the title and description, adding two internal links, or adding a missing section. Each item also gets one check: a tracked position or Search Console clicks, plus a date.
Apply and log the changes
Your assistant applies each approved change where it can reach the site, and adds one change log row per item. It asks before
check_ranks, since that is a write.Compare before and after
On the check date, read
page_updatesresults and afterEdit,keyword_historyfor each target keyword, and Search Console clicks for the same number of days before and after. Give each item a verdict.
Where it stops
- Pages in the keep list stay as they are. Do not edit a page again within six weeks of its last change unless something broke.
- A page with a
may_competereason needs a check with seo-content-refresh before either page is edited, because another page may answer the keyword better. - The impact order is a working rule you can change. Its click numbers sort the list and do not forecast results.
- Only one sprint runs at a time. Do not start a second one before the first has its check date.
Questions before you install
How is a quick-wins sprint different from the weekly review?
The weekly review picks three actions. A quick-wins sprint is a deliberate push of up to ten items, for when you have time to make them.
Does this work without RankMySEO?
Partly. Without RankMySEO, your assistant uses Search Console directly and skips the tracked-rank rows. RankMySEO steps need Starter or above.
Will a sprint guarantee more clicks?
No. The sprint orders the work by likely impact, and the check afterwards shows what moved. It does not promise a position, a date, or a rise in clicks.
