Questions about rank tracking
How often we check, how far we look, what Claude can ask, backlinks and disavow, and how to pay from Indonesia.
How often do rankings update?
Every plan once a week. Growth and above also go into a daily queue. That queue is shared and limited, so a check can wait until there is room. On any plan you can press Check ranks if you need a look before the next automatic one. We do not check hourly. The extra cost would not make the chart more useful.
How deep do you look?
The first twenty organic results. If your URL is not there, we mark it unranked. Going to 100 would make every plan more expensive, and those extra slots rarely change what you do next.
Do you track Bing, maps, or phones separately?
Google organic results for the country and language on the project. We do not store Bing, the map pack, or a separate ranking for phones.
Where does the data come from?
We buy rank data from a provider and keep the history on your account.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes. Each project has a country and language, and new keywords copy them. A .id site is checked in Indonesia.
Can I paste a list of keywords?
Yes. Open a project, add keywords, and paste a list. The account cap still applies.
Can I check backlinks?
Starter and above. Add the site as a project first. We then store an overview, new and lost referring domains for the last 30, 60, or 90 days, and opportunities against rivals you already saved. Tick referring domains onto a disavow list and download a file to upload in Google Search Console.
What can Claude or Cursor actually do?
Ask how a site is doing, look at history, or add a keyword to watch. A bot can try us without an account for two days, then a person can keep the site on their plan. Signed-in keys follow the same plan as the dashboard. The exact steps live in /llms.txt.
Can I run RankMySEO in my own app?
Yes. Apache-2.0 on GitHub: github.com/madebyaris/rankmyseo. npm i rankmyseo, then npx rankmyseo install. It uses your database.
Can I export my data?
CSV export is on Starter and up. Every plan can download a PDF of the project. Free includes the parts of the product it can see, with a watermark. Paid plans include the matching feature pages without a watermark. There is no public REST API yet. Claude or Cursor is how you read the same data from another tool.
How do I pay?
Indonesia: pay from the dashboard with QRIS, a virtual account, or an e-wallet. USD: pay from the dashboard with a card after you sign in.
